Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, on Sunday received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the sisterly Republic of Djibouti to Somalia, Col. Osman Dubad Sugulle.
President Hassan Sheikh congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic mission. He also underscored the importance of strengthening the longstanding brotherly relations and cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti in the areas of politics, security, and economic development.
For his part, Ambassador Osman Dubad Sugulle conveyed greetings and a message from the President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, and expressed appreciation for the warm reception extended to him by the Somali government.
The ambassador also outlined his commitment to enhancing diplomatic relations and expanding cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
