GENEVA, SONNA — The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Federal Government of Somalia, His Excellency Ali Haji Adam, participated in the 64th Arab Ministerial Conference of Health held in Geneva on the sidelines of the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA79).
The conference brought together Arab health ministers and senior officials to discuss strengthening regional health cooperation, improving healthcare services, enhancing emergency preparedness, and accelerating efforts toward equitable access to healthcare across Arab countries.
During the meeting, Minister Dr. Ali Haji Adam emphasized the importance of regional collaboration, the exchange of health expertise, and coordinated support aimed at improving the healthcare systems of Arab member states.
The discussions also highlighted the need for collective action to address public health challenges, strengthen resilience against health emergencies, and advance sustainable healthcare development across the region.
