Somalia, China Discuss Strengthening Longstanding Bilateral Cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yu, for talks on strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting focused on the commitment of the governments of Somalia and China to sustaining bilateral cooperation and advancing shared interests.

The two sides also discussed ways to further strengthen the ties between Somalia and China in areas of mutual interest.
