Baidoa, SONNA — The Interim Leader of the South West State Government, Mr. Jibriil Abdirashid Haji Abdi, has held a meeting with members of the Federal Parliament and local administration officials to discuss advancing governance and service delivery in Baidoa.
The meeting, held at the leader’s office, brought together MP Mohamed Keerow, MP Maryan Moalim, and the Chairman of Baidoa District and Mayor of Baidoa, Mr. Abdullahi Ali Watiin, who recently returned to the country.
Discussions focused on accelerating the activities of the Baidoa District administration, particularly in the areas of security, social services, and urban development, including efforts to enhance the city’s appearance.
Leader Jibriil emphasized the need for increased momentum, directing the district chairman to redouble efforts in strengthening administrative effectiveness and improving essential services for residents.
The attending Members of Parliament underscored the importance of close coordination and full cooperation among government institutions to ensure sustainable development and long-term stability in the district.
