Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing of the Federal Government of Somalia held its regular monthly meeting, chaired by the Minister, H.E. Ayub Ismail Yusuf.
The meeting focused on the implementation of a government-wide performance evaluation system introduced by the Office of the Prime Minister to enhance transparency, accountability, and the quality of public services.
Attendees included the Director General, department directors, advisors, project managers, and other key staff.
The Ministry’s Monitoring and Delivery Unit (MDU) presented the 2026 performance commitment plan, along with a modern dashboard system designed to track progress and measure the achievement of strategic objectives. Participants also discussed existing challenges and solutions to strengthen interdepartmental coordination and project implementation.
Minister Ayub urged all directors and project managers to demonstrate strong collaboration and commitment to delivering tangible and effective results.
The meeting concluded successfully, with the MDU outlining the Ministry’s strategic direction for 2026–2030, which will guide its development priorities in the coming years.
