Mogadishu (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), held a meeting with traditional elders and community leaders from Southwest State to discuss the prevailing situation in the region.
During the meeting, the elders briefed the Speaker on the conditions facing communities across Southwest State, emphasizing the urgent need for sustainable solutions to the challenges affecting the area.
Speaker Madoobe commended the elders for their vital role in supporting peace, stability, and development. He encouraged them to further strengthen their efforts in promoting governance and advancing progress in Southwest State.
The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Ports and Marine Transport, Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), along with members of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
