Ankara (SONNA) – The Office of the Auditor General of the Federal Government of Somalia and the Turkish Court of Accounts have jointly launched a training workshop in Ankara on compliance auditing.
The training brings together staff from the Office of the Auditor General of Somalia and audit offices from the Federal Member States.
Speaking at the opening, Deputy Head of Audit at the Turkish Court of Accounts, Ahmet Tezcan, reaffirmed his institution’s commitment to continued support and cooperation, particularly in strengthening professional skills, knowledge, and institutional collaboration.
Deputy Auditor General of Somalia, Abdijamal Ismail Mohamed, expressed appreciation for the hospitality and ongoing partnership, noting that such initiatives enhance capacity, improve performance quality, and promote professional exchange.
The training is part of broader efforts to strengthen the skills and expertise of audit professionals at both federal and state levels, reinforcing principles of accountability, transparency, and good governance.
