Mogadishu (SONNA): Hodan District in the Banadir region has advanced to the fourth round of the Ramadan Quiz Competition after defeating Wanlaweyn District with a score of 16 points to 10.
This marks the 16th year that Somalia’s National Media has organized the Ramadan Quiz competition. This year’s edition is jointly supported by IBS Bank and the Banadir Regional Administration.
The competition is broadcast nightly on Somali National Media, airing live on Somali National Television and Radio Mogadishu.
Each year, 32 districts from across Somalia take part in the Ramadan Quiz competition. The district that wins the tournament receives trophies, cash prizes, and other awards, including certificates recognizing the academic achievement of the country’s emerging youth.
Meanwhile, the schedule for the semifinals of the National Media Ramadan Quiz Competition will be announced for viewers to follow.
