Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Minister of Family and Human Rights Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, Amb. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, inaugurated a football field established at the orphan care center for the children of the Somali Police Force, providing a recreational space for the children to play.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Halima Saciya Yusuf Abdulle, the commander of the orphan care center for the Somali Police Force, thanked Minister Khadija Al-Makhzoumi for her continued support to orphaned children, particularly those whose parents served in the police force. She noted that the initiative would have a significant positive impact on the children.
In brief remarks at the event, Minister Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi emphasized the importance of supporting orphaned children and ensuring their well-being and happiness. She paid special tribute to children whose parents sacrificed their lives for the nation while serving in the country’s security forces, stressing that the peace enjoyed today is a result of their blood and dedication.
