Mogadishu (SONNA): The Kismayo District of Lower Juba region has advanced to the third round of the Ramadan Quiz competition after defeating Dhusamareeb District with 12 points to 6.
This marks the 16th year that Somali National Media has organized the annual Ramadan Quiz competition. This year’s edition is jointly supported by IBS Bank and the Banadir Regional Administration.
The competition is broadcast nightly on Somali National Media, airing live on Somali National Television and Radio Mogadishu.
Each year, the Ramadan Quiz competition brings together 32 districts from across Somalia. The winning district is awarded trophies, cash prizes, and other recognitions, including certificates that highlight the academic achievements of the country’s emerging youth generation.
