Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spoke on the phone with His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the call, the two leaders discussed recent regional developments and the serious implications of ongoing military escalation in the Middle East, underscoring the importance of de-escalation.
The President reaffirmed Somalia’s full solidarity with the government and people of Jordan, expressing firm support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Iranian aggression. He stressed that any attack on Jordan’s territory is a clear violation of international law and cannot be justified.
