Addis Ababa, (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, on Thursday held bilateral talks with his Egyptian counterpart on the sidelines of the ongoing African Union meetings in Addis Ababa.
The two ministers reaffirmed the long-standing and strong relations between Somalia and Egypt, agreeing to further enhance cooperation in key areas including diplomatic coordination, peace and security, trade, and investment.
Both sides also agreed to maintain close engagement through existing diplomatic channels to advance shared interests and promote regional stability.
