Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, today received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Wang Yi, at his office in Mogadishu.
During the Monday meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening the longstanding relationship between Somalia and China, with a particular focus on political cooperation, infrastructure development, and educational support.
Somalia and China are set to celebrate the 65th anniversary of their historic diplomatic ties next month, in December.
