Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Commissioner Mohamud Moallim opened a three-day workshop aimed at improving procedures for the Shock Responsive Social Protection (SRSP) emergency response program, hosted by SoDMA.
The workshop gathers officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and World Food Program (WFP) in Somalia to enhance coordination and strengthen national response systems.
The Commissioner emphasized the importance of strong national and international cooperation in emergency preparedness, calling the workshop a major step toward unified procedures.
Mr. Mohamud encouraged active participation in all discussions, noting that success relies on shared expertise. He also thanked WFP and partners supporting efforts to boost community and government resilience.
