BEIJING (SONNA) – The Secretary-General of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdulle (Jaabiri), conducted an official visit to the Somali Embassy in Beijing.
Mr. Jaabiri, who is in the People’s Republic of China for an official working visit, was warmly received at the embassy headquarters by Somalia’s Ambassador to China, H.E. Hodan Osman Abdi, along with the embassy’s diplomatic and administrative staff.
During his visit, the Secretary-General extended high praise to Ambassador Hodan and her entire team for their dedicated and impactful service to the nation. He stated that their work “reflects the name, honor, and vision of the Somali nation” on the world stage.
Mr. Jaabiri specifically commended the embassy’s constant efforts in building and strengthening the deep, strategic relationship that exists between Somalia and China.
In his address to the staff, Secretary-General Jaabiri encouraged them to continue their proactive approach to diplomacy. He urged them to remain focused on key national priorities, including attracting foreign investment, fostering multifaceted cooperation, and further enhancing the reputation and standing of the Somali nation in Asia and beyond.
