Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Somalia Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Federal Member State Ministries of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, and the Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) held a critical meeting in Mogadishu today to discuss the country’s worsening humanitarian situation.
Following a review of recent assessments, the meeting participants issued an urgent advisory calling for swift and coordinated interventions in food security, nutrition, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) services.
The advisory appeals to international partners, humanitarian organizations, Somalia’s private sector, and diaspora communities to mobilize immediate assistance to mitigate the impact of the crisis and save lives.
