MAHADAAY – The Spokesperson of the Somali National Army (SNA) at the Ministry of Defense, Sheikh Abukar Ma’alin, held a motivational meeting with SNA troops stationed in the Mahadaay district of the Middle Shabelle region. The meeting served as a crucial morale booster and an opportunity to reinforce the army’s commitment to securing newly liberated areas.
During his address, the spokesperson praised the soldiers for their readiness and dedication to protecting the residents of Mahadaay. He encouraged them to redouble their efforts in the ongoing fight against Khawaarij extremist groups, who continue to hide in parts of the Middle Shabelle region.
In a direct appeal to the public, Sheikh Abuukar Ma’alin called on the local population of Mahadaay and the broader Middle Shabelle region to actively support the military’s operations. He emphasized that the community’s cooperation is vital for the successful clearance of the remaining extremist elements and for bringing long-term stability to the area.
