Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, H.E. Ali Yusuf Ali Hosh, chaired a meeting with the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu Hon. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), the Commander of the Somali Police Force Major General Asad Osman Abdullahi, the Director General of the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) Mr. Abdiweli Ali Abdulle, and the Director of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Directorate Mr. Abdikani Wehelie, along with other senior officials.
The meeting focused on advancing the national identification and civil registration processes in Banadir, ensuring security during registration, strengthening service delivery, safeguarding data, and enhancing coordination among government institutions.
