New York, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended a dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump in honor of the visiting Heads of State and Government, commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations.
The President attended the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he presented the difficult circumstances Somalia has overcome, noting that the government has worked to ensure security, accelerate the fight against terrorism, strengthen democracy, and continues the completion of the Constitution.
