Mogadishu, Somalia – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has appointed Ambassador Mohamed Ali Nur, widely known as “Ameriko,” as the new Director of Mogadishu Port. Nur, who previously served as Somalia’s ambassador to Kenya, replaces the former director, Ahmed Washington.
