Baidoa, (SONNA) — The Chairman of the National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (NIEBC), H.E. Abdikarim Ahmed Hassan, accompanied by the Commission’s Secretary-General, Hussein Nunow Ali, attended a ceremony marking the conclusion of training and the swearing-in of election personnel who will oversee the upcoming elections in Baidoa, South West State.
The officials were trained to support the administration and smooth conduct of the elections scheduled to take place across South West State on Sunday.
Local council and representative elections are also expected to be held throughout South West State tomorrow, allowing residents to cast their votes and elect their representatives.
