Yinchuan, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, today held talks with the Secretary of the Communist Party of Ningxia and Head of the Region, Mr. Li Yifei. The discussions focused on strengthening the historic ties between Somalia and China.
Prime Minister Hamza expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted Somalia’s wide-ranging investment opportunities in agriculture, fisheries, energy, and livestock, noting that these sectors are open to Chinese companies and investors.
For his part, Secretary Li Yifei described Somalia as a resource-rich country with untapped opportunities. He affirmed Ningxia’s readiness to encourage local companies and investors to visit Somalia, explore available opportunities, and further enhance bilateral cooperation.
