Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Somali Police Spokesperson, Captain Abdifatah Adan Hassan, announced at a press briefing held at the Port of Mogadishu that security forces have seized containers used to conceal narcotics.
He stated that police, in cooperation with other security agencies, are carrying out extensive operations targeting drug traffickers and users, warning that anyone involved in the trade or consumption of narcotics will be brought to justice.
Narcotics continue to pose a serious threat to Somali youth, and the Federal Government is intensifying efforts to curb their dangers and harmful impact on society.
