Baidoa, (SONNA) — The Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mr. Mahamud Moallim Abdulle, along with a high-level delegation, arrived in Baidoa, the interim capital of South West State, ahead of the 2025 Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF), which is scheduled to take place on August 6.
The Country Humanitarian Forum (CHF) is a national platform that brings together humanitarian actors, government institutions, donors, and civil society to coordinate aid efforts and strengthen the overall response to humanitarian challenges across Somalia.
The delegation was warmly received at Shaati-Gaduud Airport by the South West State Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Mr. Abdinasser Abdi Arush, along with cabinet ministers and senior regional officials. The upcoming forum aims to foster collaborative planning and align humanitarian priorities in the face of ongoing crises.
