Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Gure, inaugurated a five-day workshop titled “Telling Stories Through 2D Animation”, aimed at enhancing the visual communication skills of diplomatic staff.
Held at the training hall of the Institute, the workshop is organized in collaboration with Jamhuriya University of Science & Technology (JUST) and will benefit 40 employees from various departments of the Ministry.
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Mohamed Gure highlighted the importance of visual diplomacy in modern international relations, noting that the training will equip participants with the tools to utilize graphics and animation to express diplomatic messages and shape public understanding through technology.
Also addressing the event, the Vice President for Administration and Finance at Jamhuriya University of Science & Technology and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jamhuriya Technology Solutions (Jtech) reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting the Ministry’s capacity-building efforts. He encouraged participants to fully engage with the training, which is being conducted by Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi Nur (Dini) and his team from the university.
