Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with General Michael E. Langley, Commander of United States African Command (AFRICOM), in Mogadishu to discuss advancing the Somalia–U.S. security partnership.
Their discussions focused on accelerating joint counter-terrorism efforts and strengthening coordination within the broader multi-partner framework, including the AUSSOM. The President expressed Somalia’s deep appreciation for the United States’ steadfast support in the ongoing fight against international terrorism.
