Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Hassan Aden, accompanied by the ministry’s Director General, Abdi Diirshe, held a meeting with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representative for Somalia, Etienne Peterschmitt.
The meeting centered on strengthening cooperation between the FAO and the Ministry, with a specific focus on the fisheries sector. Discussions revolved around identifying and implementing projects that would benefit local fishermen and promote the sustainable utilization of Somalia’s marine resources.
