ARI-CADDEEYE, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, attended an honorary luncheon hosted in his name on the outskirts of Ari-Caddeeye, approximately 30 kilometers north of Laascaanood.
The event, held at the farm of Sultan Mustafe Mahmoud Aw Seed, brought together local residents, traditional leaders, and senior government officials. Speaking to the gathered community, Prime Minister Hamza expressed his joy at visiting the historically significant area and meeting with the people of SSC-Khaatumo.
“I am honored to be here with you today, and I assure you that your constitutional rights—including the right to participate in national elections—will soon be fulfilled,” the Prime Minister said, reaffirming his government’s commitment to inclusive governance and democratic progress.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the leader of the SSC-Khaatumo Administration, H.E. Abdulqadir Ahmed Aw Cali (Firdhiye), along with officials from various federal institutions. He thanked the local community for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the delegation.
