Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Bihi Iman Igeh chaired the 68th Financial Governance Committee meeting and engaged in a comprehensive discussion on advancing financial governance in Somalia.
The discussions focused on key areas such as enhancing domestic revenue generation, procurement and concession, and strengthening public financial management systems. Additionally, thry previewed the upcoming 2024 FGC report, which will be crucial in assessing our progress.
“As a government , we remain truly committed to implementing and driving forward our financial reforms to ensure greater transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth in Somalia’s economy and fiscal landscape,” Minister Bihi said.
