Dar es Salam, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Tanzania, Ilyas Ali Hassan had a productive meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, H.E Thérèse Kayikwamba in the sidelines of the joint EAC-SADC Ministerial Meeting.
“I had a productive sideline meeting with Her Excellency Thérèse Kayikwamba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DRC, during the joint EAC-SADC Ministerial Meeting,” Ambassador Ilyas said.
The two officials reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to contributing to the collective efforts of EAC and SADC in bringing peace and stability to our region, as well as implementing decisions from last month’s Heads of States Joint Summit in Dar es Salaam. We have addressed the situation of Somali citizens in the DRC.
