Deputy governor Abdiasis lauded the Kaaraan district administration and its residents for their enthusiastic readiness to participate in the upcoming direct elections. These elections are set to take place across Somalia, including local council elections, which aim to ensure the rights and representation of Mogadishu’s millions of residents.
Speaking at the event, Kaaraan District Commissioner Farah Addani Mohamed emphasized the importance of the one-man, one-vote system in fostering inclusivity and transparency in governance. He was joined by politicians, traditional elders, directors, women, youth representatives, and various community leaders, all of whom echoed their support for the initiative.
