Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Chairman of the Somali Disaster Management Agency, Mr. Mohamud Moallim Abdulle, alongside the Chairman of the Somali Scholars Association, Sheikh Bashiir Ahmed Salaad, and Deputy Chairman Sheikh Ali Mohamud Hassan (Ali Wajiis), welcomed the new Ambassador of Palestine, Rowaid Adil Mohamed, at his office.
The meeting focused on ways the Somali government and people can support their Palestinian counterparts affected by ongoing conflicts and displacement. It emphasized the solidarity of the Somali people with Palestine in their pursuit of freedom and independence.
Chairman Mohamud congratulated Ambassador Rowaid Adil on his new appointment, while the Ambassador expressed gratitude for the longstanding support from the Somali people towards their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
