Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Governor of Banaadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E Mohamed Ahmed Amir, met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Somalia, Ambassador Ahmed Juma Al-Rumaithi.
The two officials discussed strengthening relations and expanding development projects that the UAE government is implementing in Mogadishu.
Ambassador Al-Rumaithi congratulated Governor Amir on his new role and expressed the UAE’s readiness to continue supporting development projects aimed at rebuilding and beautifying the capital city.
Governor Amir thanked the UAE government for its support to the Somali people and its role in the recovery of the capital. He emphasized the importance of continuing the cooperation agreements previously established.
