Mogadishu, (SONNA): The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, welcomed the Minister of Higher Education of the Republic of Algeria, His Excellency Kamel Badari, along with his delegation, to the State House during an official visit to Somalia.
The visit commenced with President Mohamud receiving a message of greetings from the President of Algeria, His Excellency Abdilajid Tabboune. The message conveyed updates on the situation in Algeria and reiterated the commitment of Algerian leaders to enhancing bilateral relations with Somalia.
During the meeting, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud reaffirmed Somalia’s dedication to strengthening cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized the significant role that enhanced relations play in promoting unity and integration across the African continent.
The high-level engagement highlights the mutual interest of both nations in fostering deeper collaboration and shows the importance of unity and cooperative efforts in achieving regional stability and prosperity.
