Mogadishu, (SONNA): The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, accompanied by a high-level delegation, has arrived in Baidoa, the interim capital of the Southwest Regional Administration. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed at the airport by the President of Southwest State, Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), along with hundreds of enthusiastic residents.
The Prime Minister’s visit aims to strengthen the cooperation between federal and regional government institutions, observe the ongoing developments in Southwest State, and participate in the 6th anniversary celebration of the administration led by President Abdiasis Laftagareen.
The visit shows the commitment of the Federal Government to work closely with regional authorities to foster development, enhance governance, and address the needs of the local communities.
