Mogadishu (SONNA) – Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Mr. Salah Jama, addressed the national media at the weekly round table, lauding the success of the recent conference between Somalia and Ethiopia held in Ankara. The agreement reached during this conference was praised for effectively resolving disputes between the two nations.
Mr. Jama emphasized that Somalia and Ethiopia have committed to working together through a newly established, mutually agreed process that aligns with international law. This collaborative effort aims to advance the interests of both peoples and nations.
Describing the agreement as a significant achievement, Mr. Jama highlighted its benefits for both countries and their citizens. He noted that the future implementation of this agreement would usher in a new era of strengthened bilateral relations.
The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the President of Turkey for his pivotal role in facilitating the dialogue and achieving a fruitful agreement that sets Somalia and Ethiopia on a path toward continued development.
