Mogadishu, SONNA — Today in Mogadishu, the Commissioner of the National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), Mahamuud Moallim, concluded a two-day consultation meeting aimed at enhancing coordination between the government and partners for a more effective emergency response. The event was co-organized by SoDMA, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoLSA), and the World Food Program (WFP) Somalia.
Participants discussed strategies to improve collaboration and streamline efforts to respond swiftly and efficiently to emergencies. This meeting underscores the commitment of all involved parties to bolster Somalia’s disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
