Beijing, (SONNA) – The Flag of the Federal Republic of Somalia including other flags from African countries have been raised in the Tiananmen Square in Beijing indicating the arrival of African leaders and the Forum of China-Africa Cooperation which is about to open in China on the 4th to 6th of September.
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to attend the FOCAC and deliver a speech, and other delegation from Somalia are also attending the forum to find a common interests between Somalia and China.
“National flags of different African countries fluttered on lampposts on the Tiananmen Square in Beijing to welcome foreign guests. The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will be held in Beijing from Sept. 4 to 6,” Shanghai Eye.
