The Federal Government of Somalia has allocated a delegation who are going to attend the Forum for China-Africa Cooperation which will kickoff on the 5th of September 2024 and African heads are expected to be present.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Ahmed Moalim Fiqi had a meeting with the delegation who are expected to participate in the forum last week and had a deep discussion with them on issues that each minister will focus on and how they can benefit Somalia from the forum.
The delegates expected to land in China in the coming few days include, the Ministers of Energy and Water Resources, Trade and Industry, Communications and Technology, Fisheries and Blue Economy, along with the State Minister of Presidential Affairs, State Minister of Education, Chief of Staff of the Presidency and high-ranking officials Director Generals and Department Directors.
The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation which will focus on the theme “Joining hands to Advance Modernisation and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future”.
This high level meeting brought together journalists across the world so that they can cover the relationship between China And African, and to ask questions on how the People’s Republic of China will extend the Modernisation to the communities in Africa and come up with a shared future.
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is expected to arrive in China in the coming days alongside other African leaders to represent their countries.
The Federal Government of Somalia expects to discuss issues on the Agricultural Sectors, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Education and Security, and they will have several meetings with several stakeholders and investors, and search for bilateral benefits for the two sides.
