Mogadishu, Somalia – Somalia’s Ministry of Education has successfully concluded the nationwide high school exit exams. The Minister of State for Education, Nuuro Mustaf Mukhtar, officially closed the exams on Friday, marking the culmination of a period of testing for over 37,000 students.
A closing ceremony was held to mark the occasion, with representatives from various institutions in attendance. Commander of the Somali Police Force, Sulub Ahmed Firin, addressed the students, extending a welcome to those interested in joining the police force.
The exams were administered across 69 designated centers throughout the country, ensuring accessibility for students in all regions. This year’s exams mark a significant milestone for Somali education, with a high number of students participating.
The Ministry of Education has not yet released details on the specific dates for result announcements.
