Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Auditor General of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Ahmed Isse Gutaale opened a crucial 3-day technical meeting between Office of the Auditor General (OAG) of Somalia and Federal Member States (FMS)-OAGs. Auditor Generals from the FMSs are present to explore collaboration opportunities to enhance audit functions across Somalia.
This high-level meeting, also attended by representatives from the European Union’s delegation in Somalia aims to fulfill Goal 7 of the OAGS 5-year Strategic Plan. It serves as a foundational step for sustained collaboration between the Auditor Generals of federal and state levels in Somalia.
