Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, chaired the meeting of the Permanent Secretary and the Directors of the Ministry’s Departments focused on strategic changes aimed at improvement and work acceleration.
During the meeting, Minister Fiqi ordered the implementation of ambitious plans to reorganize the archives and consular services, with the aim of modernizing and making them “degital” with a number and reference. He emphasized the importance of bilateral and multilateral relations, outlining strategies to strengthen political, security, economic and social relations, while creating a comprehensive geopolitical framework.
Minister Ahmed Macallin Fiqi emphasized the importance of keeping the documents and the results of the meetings and talks abroad in order to be tracked and implemented. He encouraged creativity and production which he said are essential pillars to achieve diplomatic success and strengthen Somalia’s reputation in the world.
