Kismayo, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army’s Danab Commandos conducted an operation in the western area of the city of Kimayo in the Lower Jubba State and eliminated 27 Al-Shabaab terrorists and injured 36 others.
The operation which was led by Colonel Arab Dheeg of Danab Commandos was carried out in Yaaqdabayl area which is in western Kismayo.
The army chased away the terrorists who were hiding there, praising the people for supporting the army and sending messages against terrorism.
The second phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorists will soon begin in the Southwest areas as the president of the Federal Republic announced.
