The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Somalia has announced the price of Hajj for Somali citizens who wish to perform the Islamic pilgrimage in 2024.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the cost of Hajj this year will be $4430 per person, which includes the visa fee, transportation, accommodation, and other services.
The ministry said that the price was determined after a two-month study by a committee of experts on hajj affairs, who considered the economic situation of the country and the exchange rate of the Somali shilling.
The ministry also urged the Hajj service companies to adhere to the regulations and standards set by the Saudi authorities and the Somali government, and to provide the best services to the pilgrims.
