Suicide car bomb attack leaves six dead, nine others injured

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Police Spokesman, Sadik Dodishe gave details on a suicide car bomb attack in Mogadishu’s Celasha Biyaha, which left 6 dead and 9 others injured on the outskirts of the capital.

The Al-Shabaab terrorists filled a car with explosive devices and took it to a camp in the area of Ceelasha Biyaha killing six, four of them being the security forces and two other civilians, and injuring nine others five of them being the security forces and four other civilians who were around the area.

The explosion also caused property damage including houses near the area.

The Spokesman said, “It is noteworthy that this is the fifth car that was improvised by the terrorist militants and tried to enter the capital but the security forces were able to stop them from harming the society”.

The security forces caught rigged vehicles in the districts of Dar-e-salam, Deynile, Wardhigley, kaxda, and this morning in Ceelasha Biyaha district which was all a means to enter the capital and to cause damages to the property and lives of the Somali people.
