Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Ethiopia, Amb. Abdullahi Mohamed Warfa held meetings with the Ambassadors of Congo, Daniel Owassa and Algeria, Mohamed Lamine Labas to Ethiopia.
The Ambassador of Somalia and the Ambassador of the Republic of Congo, who is the head of the Security and Peace Council of the African Union, agreed on strengthen the traditional relationship between the two countries, while also agreeing that the Republic of Congo will give full support to the Republic of Somalia, the cooperation between Somalia and the African Union, especially the Security and Peace Council, to implement the plan of the Somali National Army to completely take over the security of the entire country from the ATMIS forces.
On the other hand, Ambassador Warfa also discussed with his Algerian counterpart the development and promotion of relations and cooperation between Somalia and Algeria, while Ambassador Lamine promised that his government will continue to work with Somalia in the fight against terrorism and the development of social issues.
