Mogadishu, September 7, 2023 – A high-level delegation led by Member of Parliament Mahmoud Ahmed Adan embarked on a crucial work visit to Qatar, emphasizing the strengthening of bilateral ties between the parliaments of Somalia and Qatar. During their visit, the delegation engaged in a productive meeting with Qatar’s Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Ms. Hamda Bint Hassan Al-Salaiti.
The primary focus of the meeting was the enhancement of cooperation and coordination between the two parliaments. Both sides acknowledged the importance of fostering a robust partnership to promote economic development in Somalia.
