Baidoa, (SONNA) – The meeting of the National Consultative Council has on Thursday kicked off in Baidoa the administrative capital of the Southwest State of Somalia.
The meeting which is chaired by the President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud focused on the structure of national security, the process of financial federalization, and elections at the federal and state levels.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, Hamza Abdi Barre, Deputy PM Salah Ahmed Jama, Mayor of Mogadishu, Yusuf Hussein Jim’ale, the Presidents of Southwest, Jubbaland, and Hirshabelle States, namely Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe), Ali Hussein Guudlawe, and Ahmed Abdi Kariye (Qoorqoor).
