Washington DC, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who attended an event held at the White House, met with his American counterpart, H.E Joe Biden.
The President shared with the officials of the United States, the situation in the country and the war against terrorism, pointing out the victories that the Somali National Army and the locals gained and the territories that they liberated from the Al-Shabaab Khawarij.
The President of the United States praised the operations to liberate the Middle Shabelle and Hiraan areas, which showed the ability and power of the government and the Somali people to eradicate terrorism, and he confirmed their continued support to the Somali government.
