Dholow (SONNA):A cargo plane caught fire shortly after landing at Dholow Airport in the Gedo region.
The cargo plane was initially travelling from Mogadishu to Dholow airport in order to deliver assistance to the community.
Pictures from the scene show the C-160 aircraft go up in flames .
A government spokesperson stated that the cargo plane belonged to the WFP. The spokesperson said the plane’s captain and one crew member made t off-board safely.
No immediate report on the number of casualties.
